Suicide Prevention International (SPI), www.spiorg.com , is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that utilizes its international network of suicide prevention experts to develop and implement suicide prevention projects  to help vulnerable populations in the U.S. and worldwide. Of particular interest to us is an instrument that SPI is developing to identify when patients are at imminent risk of suicide, as well as the work being done specifically addressing youth suicide. As with any disease, research is a critical component of finding a cure and funding is a critical component to making this happen.

No words can express the devastating loss of a child to suicide. The pain is profound.
